Welcome to CORTE DEI MEDICI PALACE

...

"A secret garden in the heart of Catania"

“Corte dei medici – Palace” is an indipendent, family-run building, situated in one of Catania's most popular locations, at the heart of via Umberto I, and it is just minutes from the fashionable via Etnea, Villa Bellini Garden, Corso Italia. All the main monuments and attractions of the city are within walking distance. This old building has recently undergone a major refurbishment and offers the ultimate in commodation, facilities and modern standards. We are particularly proud of the new look and feel of the building. The original designs give us the perfect balance between a contemporary feel and the restored original features, using a simple and neutral colour palette. Our different bedroom designs have been devised across a vibrant colour spectrum, whilst the communal areas play on gold and purple colours.

History is all around you: and the palace building itself have a fascinating past. Originally buil to an ancient family of medicians, it revolves around a central garden. Also, on the ground floor, the family has a well-known pizzeria where you could dine, taking advantage of private discounts as guests.
